As the AVP of IT Quality Assurance (QA) at Pure Insurance, I lead a global team focused on ensuring systems quality, reliability, and usability. Reporting to the Vice President, Head of Technology Operations, I drive QA transformation, establish quality improvement mindsets, and partner with executive IT leadership to execute key initiatives. With over 15 years of experience in Information Technology, I shape and progress a global 24x7 QA and quality engineering model, drive automation transformation, and build systems and product quality. As the Director of Quality Assurance, I Led and inspired a results-oriented team of Automation Engineers responsible for ensuring the integrity, performance, and security of Mineraltree's full stack, modularized, SaaS Automated Accounts Payable application. Some of my accomplishments include:• Changed the triage process to allow for quicker defect resolution, reducing the time to resolve bugs by up to 300%. • Built an automation team that reduced testing time during releases by 40 to 50% and integrated testing as part of the CI/CD pipeline. • Created a containerized, automated test infrastructure to support a transformation from a monolithic single application to a microservices architecture. • Defined and executed a Quality Assurance plan, implementing rigorous quality standards, practices, and KPIs to enhance product quality. • Collaborated closely with cross-functional teams, including Development, Product Management, and Customer Support, to address customer needs, product direction and to integrate Quality Assurance seamlessly across the software development lifecycle.
