I have been in the aviation customer services industry, both within South Africa and internationally, for 32 years starting as a flight attendant and now leading my own cabin crew. I have thoroughly enjoyed interacting with people from all nationalities and cultures. I have discovered throughout my tenure that even though we can be limited by our social paradigms and prejudices, everyone is unique and should be treated that way. It was an immense pleasure to cater to and satisfy the wide variety of passenger needs while absorbing all nuances of the individual.I am proud of obtaining my degree through UNISA, BA (Health Sciences and Social Services), as it was achieved on a part-time basis while balancing flight schedules and my personal life. It is my objective to use this degree to further enhance my very deep knowledge of people that has transcended into a state of unconscious competence. I thrive in environments where I can foster collaboration, teamwork, and loyalty. I have a great deal of compassion for others and are inspired as well as inspire them to serve others.
