Girls in Tech Australia have built tremendous momentum both nationally with the community and sponsors alike hosting 14 events in 2022 across 3 states and territories creating conversations and deep dives around topics such as - what it means to be a technologist, imposter syndrome, how to move up in your career - these conversations are designed to empower, educate and engage with our members and we have seen time and time again the authentic and vulnerable conversations these start. We want to host more meaningful events where there is a need in the community in 2023 to become the known brand in the Australian market for empowering females in their tech careers lead by authentic, meaningful conversations that hits the hearts of our community

Girls in Tech (GIT) is a global non-profit that works to put an end to gender inequality in high-tech industries and startups. We do that by educating and empowering women who are passionate about technology. As a result, we offer everything from coding courses to bootcamps to hackathons and startup competitions no matter age or profession. It is Girls in Tech’s mission to support women with the access and community they need to succeed in tech.GIT was founded in 2007 and headquartered in San Francisco.
