Alimenterra was a European network organisation of companies and NGO's to promote and support healthy and sustainable food and rural development. During its 7 years existence (2003-2009), Alimenterra supported and initiated various projects and initiatives on sustainable public procurement, healthy food in school cantines and sustainable rural development.
