After that, delegations from all over the world visited Amsterdam to gain knowledge. “How do we become a cycling city?” During the tours I guided I understood from these enthusiastic 'city makers' where the bottlenecks lay. I saw how we can convert the differences in bicycle and car cultures into opportunities. The foundation was laid for Bikenine. This new mobility organization under the Neuf Company stands for: 'result-oriented problem solvers'. From beginning to end. From planning to implementation. Combined with effective communication. After owning a graphic design- and advertising agency for 15 years, around 2009 I gave myself a qualifying and self-reflecting time, open and eager for more options. Combining cultures, ideas and experiences. Was still working on concepts and solutions for clients in Amsterdam, and 'think tanking' with friends in Argentina about exciting business matters.

Amsterdam maakt een enorme groeit door. Er komen steeds meer buitenlandse bedrijven naar de stad. Er komen steeds meer toeristen naar de stad. En die mensen willen ook allemaal fietsen. Dat is geweldig. Maar zonder dat er veel plek voor is, moeten die fietsen ook allemaal geparkeerd worden. En daar gaat het wat minder geweldig. Hier ligt mijn uitdaging momenteel.
