Assist in scoping and defining problems in proposed client app/website designs. Walk clients through the early technical development process including user interviews, iterative mockups, and speaking with investors. Generate findings and recommendations for further iterations. Brainstorm and develop low and high fidelity prototypes for the client’s project using Balsamiq and Proto.io. Create and present a workbook of their project to the client that they can then take to investors and developers.

Created and maintained the club’s website and Facebook page. Implemented new features to the website when they were decided on by the club president. Was responsible for writing, designing, and editing web page content or directing others producing content. Analyzed the current needs of the club and modified the website accordingly.

Aided research and development on chemicals and paints used, primarily, in the automotive industry. Was able to help design and implement a new computerized inventory system that significantly increased lab efficiency and productivity. Created a spreadsheet program that would allow the user to easily balance P/B ratios; this was able to help support operations in the Color Matching Lab. Worked independently on projects while also coordinating not only with my own lab group but with multiple departments within the company.

I aided in research on the "Diffusion of Scientific Discovery and Subsequent Innovation/Commercialization" project run by Assistant Professor James Ostler. Collected large amounts of data on the worldwide super conductor industry in Excel in order to compile a database that could be drawn upon. Did some preliminary work with the statistical program R to manipulate and analyze the data.Worked individually to collect the data but collaborated with a larger team to compile the data web. Gave presentation to a large crowd at the end of the year about the results of the project.
