GreenLight Fund currently operates in 13 different cities and is growing at the rate of one new city per year. As the Director of Expansion I:-Engage and collaborate with external stakeholders to launch new GreenLight Fund sites and build transformational partnerships-Work across multiple cities at a variety of stages to ensure the engagement of a diverse coalition of community members including local leaders, philanthropists, corporate partners, non-profit colleagues, and educational constituents to galvanize support for GreenLight-Design systems and processes, manage communications, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure that expansion to new sites is carried out with fidelity, and in alignment with GreenLight's vision, mission, values, and strategy-Support a $5-$6M fundraise in each site prior to a city's launch

-Provided strategic support to and built relationships with GreenLight’s 13 nation-wide sites to ensure they had the knowledge and tools to successfully cultivate, steward, and engage investors and build local fundraising support-Collaborated with sites during staff vacancies preparing grant proposals and reports, tracking investor activity in Salesforce, and providing investors with gift reminders and acknowledgements-Designed and implemented an organization-wide centralized gift processing procedure in collaboration with the Gift Coordinator-Hired and supervised the Gift Coordinator GreenLight Fund is a national nonprofit with a local focus, partnering with communities to remove barriers to inclusive prosperity by launching and scaling proven programs that meet community-identified needs.The GreenLight Fund helps transform the lives of children, youth and families in high-poverty urban areas by creating local infrastructure and a consistent annual process to: identify critical needs; import innovative, entrepreneurial programs that can have a significant, measurable impact; and galvanize local support to help programs reach and sustain impact in the new city.Since 2004, GreenLight Fund has launched 55 portfolio organizations across 13 cities, invested$38.5M, and attracted an additional $320M from other funding sources, reaching more than749,000 individuals and families in 2023/24 alone.
