In June 2011 I started Happy Cakes by Renee and now operate as Renee Conner Cake Design. I am the sole owner and cake designer. I bake from scratch and create beautiful (and delicious) custom cakes using a multitude of different cake decorating skills.I am self-taught and specialize in detailed, elegant fondant designs and sugar flowers. I enjoy developing and learning new technique to keep on current trends in cake design.In addition to my commissioned cake sales, I own and run a growing YouTube channel: Renee Conner. Where I teach techniques, skills, cake design and recipes. I film, edit and create all of my own content; which has proven to be popular among aspiring cake designers and bakers. Through this channel, I have found that I enjoy teaching my craft as much (if not more) than I do making cakes for clients!
