Explaining what Supplemental insurance is and what it isn’t. I want people to understand our industry and why these products matter.2. Talking through the “worry story”. I’ve found most clients have a fear of one, if not all, of the financially devastating events that we offer protection for. I want to find out exactly what areas of coverage will give clients the best peace of mind.3. Describing the benefits and exclusions of the policies. If a client doesn’t understand an insurance policy, they shouldn’t buy it. I want people to know exactly what they are covered for so that they know exactly what is owed to them if they need to file a claim.4. Finding the right premium. I can offer 4 different policies at 4 levels of coverage each to individuals, couples, and families. That’s a lot of options! I work with people one on one to find coverage within their budget.5. Maintaining the relationship. After I sign up a client, they are given my personal phone number and told to call me if they need to file any claims. I also do a 6 month email check-up to make sure every client knows that I’m their agent for the long run, not just the sale.Family Heritage policies are the leaders in the industry of supplemental protection.
