Provide emergency and routine medical care for inmates.assist inmates in administering scheduled medications and insulin shots within a short timeframethroughout the entirety of the prison.Provide ALS/BLS to inmates inside the structured housing pods with the assistance of MCERT(aka SWAT) officers following fights, riots or other dangerous situations with imminent danger toother medical staff, officers and other inmates.Receive medical requests for appointments or specific ailments from inmates and electronicallyentering the information into the individual medical folder for follow up by a PA. Also verballypassing any pertinent information that may be time sensitive.Assist PAand Nurses in the infirmary with routine medical appointments including blood draw, IVstarts, wound care, suture and staple removal.Stock medical supplies to the infirmary and medical rooms throughout the prison.Pass/collect any medical equipment to/from patients and document the information to theirelectronic medical folder.Drive state vehicles to units as transportation of inmates to and from the infirmary as well as anymedical emergency that would also require transport.
