Build, maintain and upgrade Windows servers and various applications that reside on the servers. Perform tasks related to Active Directory, Exchange 2013, print servers, DHCP, DSN and maintain the Canon scanners throughout the campus. VMWare Administrator to our VMWare environment which include tasks of upgrading, building appliances, hosts, virtual servers and the maintenance involved. On-call rotation is a monthly task in which I am a participant.

Handled calls from customers with PC/MAC/UNIX issues and questions, creating CPR tickets and resolving first and second level software/hardware problems using remote control software or personal visits. Built PC desktops and laptops for new and existing customers according to a refresh schedule, and rebuilt and repaired UNIX Workstations delivering and setting up the systems when ready. Took care of inventory changes for equipment and held five Dell Certifications. Assisted with network printer and Canon scanner hardware repairs and configurations. Took care of PC/Exchange account setups and maintenance. Handled Blackberry setups, configurations and repairs with little downtime. Took the Team Lead role of the helpdesk in 2008 handling team meetings, creating and maintaining the phone/on-call schedule, producing reports and creating a dashboard for upper management. Worked to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and a low abandonment for phone calls.

Setup, maintained and corrected backups on the UNIX filesystems, completed file recovery requests and rebuilt AWS/Solaris Workstations. Created and installed rundecks and annual schedules for the storage management team. Maintained the ACF2 mailbox, setup ACF2 logins and updated passwords. Became a member of the PC Team supplying second level support for software/hardware resolution, as well as setting up, configuring and upgrading PC and MAC systems for staff. Completed training on Windows95 and MAC systems and for the internal IT Helpdesk assuming phone/mail shifts.

Updated and executed ADABAS/Natural utilities on Databases, produced reports for ADABAS, ASAS and UNIX, coded and documented SAS programs and was a Project Librarian for SIS creation and turnover. Assisted with DASD management, analyzed and corrected disk pack errors and performed datalinks. Created network configuration diagrams using CAD/CAM for engineers and created new forms for the Xerox 9700 laser printers. Made Proc changes, updates and overrides per production maintenance and handled Mainframe/UNIX Datasets, Name ID's and LNN requests. Completed JCL code updates, worked on STN reports, and completed various work for the Technical Support group using TSO commands on the IBM 3270.

Managed print jobs including special setups, jobs submitted following programmers instructions using Xerox 9700 and IBM 3211 printers. Released jobs from the IBM console to the designated printers, collected the printouts and delivered the output to programmers. Assisted tape librarians with filing, staging and mounting tapes for daily job schedules and helped with other duties as needed.

Operated hydraulic injection molding machines and a rubber extrusion machine to produce parts for washers and dryers.Received plastic parts from mold, removed excess flash and sharp edges using hand tools to maintain a high quality product in order to pass QC inspection, as well as meet a production quota. Operated a forklift to load material into hoppers, take pallets of finished product to the warehouse and retrieve raw materials to be used for new parts.
