Previously at GHD, a consultancy whose offering sits across five main market sectors, including Transport, Poroperty & Buildings, Environment, Water and Resource Engineering. My position was responsible for strategically sourcing roles across all Business Groups and focussing on the intiative of Bold Organic Growth, coupled with Recruiting for Diversity. Part of the focus was working closely with the Leadership Group to provide advice and support within the talent acquisition function to align with the business resourcing plan. In this position I was recruiting for white collar roles across my portfolio. This is where I learned that there is such a thing as pavement engineers. (And that they are hard to find)

While at Georgiou, I was recruiting all appointments, both blue and white collar for the Infrastructure Business Unit. The Infrastructure Business Unit predominantly worked in the Land Development space, which required a fluctuating work force, depending on what stage of the works each project was at. To accommodate this, it needed close communication between sites to share resources and also utilising a casual workforce when required.I was involved in working closely with Construction Managers and Supervisors to understand their requirements and provide the support needed. In our Business Unit people were only ever referred to by their surname, as a term of endearment.
