Provides leadership for the academic team including oversight and coordination of all aspects of student services including: recruitment and retention, academic advising, and career services. Other key aspects include:Schedule of classes: identifying needs related to course offerings and planning schedule of classes to minimize conflicts / maximize enrollmentsCoordinating all aspects of commencement and degree certificationHonors program and Research Distinction: staff liaison to Honors & Research Committee, coordinate approval and revisions of honors study plans, monitor progress of honors students, commencement verification of requirements Reporting / Data Management: Compiling and reviewing general enrollment trends for ENR majors as well as course enrollments Undergraduate communications: oversight for undergraduate newsletter and website content, communicating changes / updates as needed with students Academic Affairs Committee liaison: curriculum oversight / coordination with faculty groups, work with faculty on course development process and approvalsStudent Retention Initiatives: Compiling data re: retention of our students, student satisfaction survey, oversight for developing new initiativesFaculty Liaison: Work with faculty in support of teaching, mentoring, academic policies/procedures ENR Scholarships: Coordinate scholarship application review process, consult with Honors & Research committee to determine award amounts
