• Provide input for development and maintain FPG Multi-Year Long Range Plan for Capital and O&M Projects. Coordinate with FPG plant management and engineering peer team to align portfolio projects with FPG Strategic Initiatives and Business Plan Process. Perform detailed review of project submittals to ensure each project is complete, consist and accurate. Initiate and obtain revisions to the projects as necessary to meet requirements, facilitate concurrence from Assets Accounting and gain approval through the Project Approval Board (PAB) and COO. Facilitate PAB meetings as well as coordinate off-line project approvals with VP’s and General Managers. Conduct monthly project forecast meetings in order to provide a Capital Portfolio forecast to align with Capital budget and maintain Capital reserve as necessary to meet FPG budget constraints. • Plan, prepare, and coordinate project & organizational reports used to document status, variances, progress, track indicators, and control changes to projects. Support long-range planning process by analyzing trends, developing cost/schedule forecasts, cash flows, and recommending budget adjustments. Assist the project team by preparing schedules, estimates, economic evaluations, project cost/benefit analysis, and PAB packages. Provide field support during outages & interfaces with engineering, plant, & partners on a continuous basis.

Sequoyah Nuclear Plant - Soddy Daisy, Tn

• Facilitate Site/Field performance programs to ensure establishment and analysis of specific operational and process improvement plans used for goal setting, estimating project plans, performance indicators/targets, benchmarking baseline, and trending. Plans, develops, coordinates, and directs projects with complex features. Analyzes and summarizes specific financial, maintenance, and operational data to ensure site management focuses on the proper issues. Develops various specialized and recurring presentation packages used by site management including the Monthly Site meeting Package.• Plans, schedules, and monitors schedule performance of daily, refueling and integrated projects. Develops the work sequence structure for a project to ensure effective control of nuclear risk management issues, resource allocation and equipment outage time constraints. Periodically reviews the project status by analyzing the completed activities and comparing the information to the project schedule. Conducts schedule review meetings to formulate solutions and approaches for schedule logic and resource problem areas. Develops the pre-outage plan for system schedules, startup and shutdown sequences, major operational windows, and resource assignment and levelization. Performs risk analysis of the project plan to determine reduced levels of nuclear safety and technical specification adherence. Coordinates with various site organizations on the status of work being performed and processes logic change requests while analyzing these impacts on the schedule and resource allocation.

Sequoyah Nuclear Plant - Soddy Daisy, Tn

• Evaluated and coordinated daily and outage work activities for Engineering as well as determined changes in work priorities. Engineering representative for the Outage and Plant Daily Schedule meetings. Planned and monitored various Engineering Performance Indicators weekly and monthly utilizing extracted data from various TVA software programs. Monitor effectiveness and suggest revisions as required to improve Engineering performance. Developed and conducted training classes on new and revised process, procedures and computer programs as well as revising these processes and procedures. Assisted engineers in development of design change in accordance with applicable Configuration Management Program. Design Change Coordinator including oversight of the Engineering Support Data Entry Group. Established corrective actions plans which were cost-effective, technically adequate and realistic/innovative.
