Your goals, your concerns, your body and health, my expert knowledge of the medical world. 30 plus years ago, I became an RN, and little did I know where my career path would take me. I worked at the bedside, taking care of many patient’s and their families, and also for insurance companies and “payers” obtaining authorizations for many different types of care. I worked as a chronic care nurse, providing health education and coaching, and as a care transition nurse, supporting patients as they moved from one level of care to another.I am a board certified Health and Wellness Nurse Coach, which means that I completed a coaching program exclusively for nurses to increase my knowledge and expertise when helping people make healthy lifestyle changes. I am also a voice for my patient’s, making sure that their voices, concerns and preferences are honored.I am also a parent, and know the unique loss of losing a child, and the toll of both physical and mental health issues. I feel like I have earned a Phd in Pain. I have a passion for helping people with their health and health care and making sure their needs are met. And I have a special place in my heart for those who are grieving from any loss. I also love my rescue pups, Tanzy and Tankk, support NAMI (National Alliance of Mental Health) and love California poppies!

I work with nurses, health coaches and other health professionals to create and design programs that have an IMPACT for your clients getting them the results you promise, generating income and creating enthusiastic on going clients for group classes, on line learning or 1:1 coaching. I Integrate your information and know how with strategy to set you up to successfully build a business and attract clients.

As a Care Manager III, I work to improve the health and wellness of our members. In addition to direct outreach calls to individuals, I work to develop new materials and implement practices to improve our outreach and outcomes. I utilize my skills in motivation interviewing, active listening, and my nursing skills and knowledge to support members and staff in making changes and increasing their own self-efficacy.
