I believe God has used my entire life, preparing me for this opportunity as Executive Director of OHM.I started as night time security and progressed through the ministry. In every position I have strived to do my very best. My heart is with OHM and I have seen first hand how God transforms lives here. As Executive Director I work with our Development Team growing our donor base and financial stability. In preparation of this responsibility I have spent years, actively engaging my network of friends and colleagues in the community sharing our mission and meeting with potential donors.Community involvement is one of my strengths. I believe community programs are essential to the success of OHM. I was instrumental in adding Community Services Northwest (CSNW) drug and alcohol program and counseling program to our program on site. For several years, I have coordinated our resident Christmas adoptions connecting donors, businesses and churches with OHM during the Christmas season. As Executive Director, I extend and strengthen OHM’s relationships in the community as a top priority.The leadership team at OHM is a small and passionately committed group. As Executive Director I work at strengthening the group dynamics, assuring all areas align with our mission and vision. This is something I am committed to today. My relationship with everyone at OHM is important to me; my colleagues, volunteers and residents. I have natural leadership skills and work from a servant leader’s heart. I have built trust with the residents and believe my advocacy and support is what strengthens those relationships. I have been preparing for this time both with my formal education and occasional assignments. As the Executive Director, OHM will continually get better at serving our residents; we will strengthen how we work together with each other and the community, and will put ourselves on a more stable financial foundation.
