My passion for Biomanufacturing began at Novozymes in Quality Control and Process Engineering. Interested in gaining more technical experience I pursued a Masters of Science in Biomanufacturing at NC State (BTEC) performing research on methylotrophic Pichia pastoris. After graduating, I worked in Upstream Process Development at Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies as a Senior Scientist leading multiple process characterization and technology transfer programs while directly managing a team of scientists. In 2017, I transitioned into Program Management leading programs ranging from pre-clinical to commercial stages. As part of the Senior Leadership Team, I led the PMO department for the Alachua, Fl site as Head of Program Management within Viral Vector Services. In my current role as Head of Manufacturing, Science and Technology, Viral Vector Services, supporting the Alachua site I look forward to partnering with clients and team members cross-functionally to deliver robust, transferable processes, customer service, and quality.
