    At this boutique but well respected small agency in the heart of Boston's Harvard Square, I managed several of their accounts and account programs. Initially my charter was to focus on their larger publishing clients, such as IDG's corporate media relations, which included promoting the efforts of renowned CEO Patrick McGovern at the time, particularly with the financial and business media worldwide.As part of the IDG business, I also drove mindshare and PR for two of their technology magazines: PC World and Computerworld, both leaders in their category at the time. During my stint there, we also launched IDG publication Multimedia World which was ahead of its time and too early for the market. This included all media and analyst relations, with a specialty on TV and radio interview placements for all IDG properties in my portfolio.I also drove media relations and all communications around their annually held Computerworld Smithsonian Awards in Washington DC for two years. This involved working with our sponsors and partners communications to raise the profile, as well as the communications heads of all finalists and winners for this Awards Program across 10 categories. This was a rich foray into working with vertical market press, from legal, manufacturing, education and retail to arts and entertainment, publishing and nonprofits.My other charter was to drive VIP programs and support around a massive global event for NYNEX International in Geneve Switzerland at the major telecommunications expo, where we strategically matched NYNEX executives with telecommunications ministers from around the world, including Japan, Scandinavia, Germany, France, Italy, Russia and the then, Easter Bloc (Romania, Hungary, Poland, etc).
