One of my formative life experiences was on my 16th birthday, at 6 a.m., when my big sister, at the soundboard of KMDL radio, announced she would be handing over the reins to me. With the start of the song “Little Sister” and a wave, she walked out - leaving me in charge of a commercial radio station. That was the start of a radio career that lasted years, including my time as “Uptown Renee Brown” the traffic reporter in Baton Rouge flying in a small plane reporting for the market’s #1 and #3 stations. Those experiences shaped who I am today, teaching me how to synthesize information, tell stories, remain professional under pressure, master resourcefulness, remain agile, communicate with clarity, and to always fulfill my responsibilities when others are relying on me. Today I create and execute high yield market growth initiatives in B2B and B2C segments.
