Payroll ProcessorJob1America Aug 2023 - Nov 2023Principal Responsibilities:• Support weekly payroll processing tasks in UltraStaff while ensuring compliance with company policies and accuracy of pay records• Communicate with Management, Supervisors and Account Managers to review employment changes during the current pay period (i.e., new hires/terminations, transfers/pay changes, bonus programs, account information, etc.)• Enter employee bank details for direct deposits• Review employee timesheets for accuracy prior to payroll processing and communicate with Account Managers should adjustments be needed• Process payroll correction requests and manage adjustment files• Quickly respond to time-sensitive payroll issues• Assist with system data audits to ensure compliance and support reporting needs• Be trained and ready to serve as a backup to Account Managers in case of absence, vacation or other need• Additional tasks and projects as assigned• Be present during regular office hours which are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with an unpaid 30-minute lunch break.
