Lead a team of communications specialists to develop educational video, podcasts, reports, newsletters, and event materials that will move Midwest farmers to plant trees in diversified cropping systems known as agroforestry, a natural climate solution. Develop brand marketing strategy and manage internal communications at the rapidly growing, remote nonprofit. Serve as Communications Working Group Co-chair for the Agroforestry Coalition.

Launched my own business to develop civic engagement toolkits and curricula for more than 50 documentaries airing nationally on PBS. Managed relationships for public media clients, including Independent Lens, WORLD Channel, Wisconsin Public Television, the California Film Institute, WHYY Philadelphia, and KQED Public Media in San Francisco.

Managed a team of three to build the capacity of national partners—made up of public media stations, libraries, and colleges in all 50 states—to effectively use PBS Independent Lens documentaries to educate and activate communities. Designed interactive webinars and peer sharing sessions to foster a collaborative learning culture among partners.

Led film production, communications, and curricula development for Miss Representation, directed by current California First Partner Jennifer Siebel Newson, during its premiere in the documentary competition at Sundance Film Festival.

Managed an award-winning multilingual online community of 8,000 women's rights activists from 150 countries and wrote content for virtual museum exhibitions.

Drove 2.8 million in online sales and managed media inquiries for a venerable fair trade and international development organization.

Selected as Director for the Contemporary Issues Committee to organize lectures, debates, forums and other events on the UW-Madison campus.

Developed press clip reports for executives, pitches for national magazines, and Intranet articles for the Fortune 500 company over two consecutive summer internships.
