I am fundamentally driven to serve others and make the world a better place. This is why I became a physical therapist, volunteer often, and step up for leadership roles. My values are compassion, community, integrity, fairness, and autonomy for myself and others.I am especially passionate about working with those with neurologic conditions to help them reach their goals. I have a special interest in spinal cord injury, ALS, and functional neurologic disorder. I also love working with people in adaptive sports, including wheelchair basketball, adaptive kayaking, and adaptive cycling.Lastly, I enjoy teaching others. This includes educating patients in the clinic, physical therapy students, and residents. One of my career aspirations is to become a continuing education instructor or professor at an institute of higher education.
