I work with clients to integrate internal and external communications and create a cohesive message. Some of my clients (past and present) include Annapolis Home magazine, The Capital Gazette, Personal Best, Society of American Florists, University of Florida, University of Maryland, Selling Power.com and Selling Power magazine and Kaiser Permanente.

Editor of UF Alumni magazine. Managed and edited (remotely) the Florida GATOR, a 4-color, 64-page quarterly alumni publication. In six years, I revamped the magazine through design and content to align closely with the UFAA brand and increased the magazine from a 48-page to a 64-page publication, adding content and advertising. I provided project management, editing, copy-editing and writing from conception to completion of each issue. Responsibilities included: Develop, manage and maintain quarterly production schedule with design firm and printer. Gather information and plan content for each issue. Research and investigate potential story ideas, writing when necessary. Assign writing assignments to freelance writers and coordinate compilation of feature articles and department stories for publications. Coordinate visual designs with photographers and design firm, ensuring visual aspects complement written copy. Serve as liaison between design firm, printer and senior management for initial and final approvals of publication. Managed freelance network and student intern. Also was responsible for online and mobile version of publication.

Responsible for award-winning internal and external publications, managed a publication staff and worked directly with art and marketing departments. Developed first Intranet-based employee publication with IS department.

Responsible for developing and writing content for feature articles, working with art department and photographers, photography set design, stylist work, and writing several monthly columns. Also developed, edited and wrote annual Trends publication.
