• Data analysis on claims data to create summaries and trends to determine potential impacts on changes made within the medical policies or any state mandates- Worked closely with physicians and leadership to conduct analysis on infertility trends among the different providers. The analysis was able to identify the high variation of infertility drug cost and opportunity to control costs and decrease variation.• Collaborated with leadership to identify opportunities by conducting quantitative analysis driven by CPT, ICD-9, and ICD-10 codes • Designed and maintained databases in Microsoft Access and SAS to store and capture data provided by the business end users, the state, or from other hospitals- Revamped the timeliness database initially built in an Access database involving a little over 100 queries. Designed a database in SAS which improved the running time from about 5 hours to 1 hour.
