CurrentWe mostly these days are supporting the entertainment side of SPIN MASTER partnering and develop properties like Unicorn Academy the new Netflix show for girls , building out the Brand Guide , the logo , the Key Art and Sales decks plus some visualizations to kick off some initial meetings. We are also involved in that little property for preschool called Paw Patrol where we created Paw Patrol The Mighty Movie logo, and a bunch of series + spin off logos for Rubble and Crew , Aqua Pups , Jungle Pups, Air Rescue, ect. My all time favorite project with them has been a little cute new property called Vida the Vet also a brand guide and key art and if you haven't seen the show it's so beautifully made . It's a perfect marriage of entertainment and toy and we sit right in that sweet spot. Thanks for trusting us with your precious properties, we will take care of them :)

CurrentI began with 20th Century Fox as one of our first major clients at Eyerus. This portion of the work we did for Fox has us complete the story of how an effective styleguide is built and what components are necessary to have it be successful. Working with some of the best in the field and cutting our teeth on our first creative styleguide for Tim Burton's version of Planet of the Apes. This was the first time we created a guide from a designer user perspective, creating the tools we always felt were missing from guides we worked with in house, creating the product at places like Mattel Toys. We continued our work for Fox mining & expanding existing brands, creating aspirational graphic systems, and creating product mock ups to help really show the licensee on a DNA level what these brands are about. We contributed to The Simpsons, Avatar, Titanic, Alvin & the Chipmunks, Ice Age and many more thru out the years. We more recent created the style guide for Epic released in 2014 & bridge product line to suffice the fan boys between Rise of the Apes films .

My team worked with VVS to create a brand that brought them into the future and spoke to what the school was creating which is world class citizens. This school is magnificent and the story being told wasn't landing. We were hired to help them visually and literally tell their story more succinct. Juniors Designer & Events/ Promotions
JNCO industries was a company made for someone like ME who wanted to become an Entrepreneur. You just had to be willing to want it and take action to create it. The year I spent at JNCO Industries I spent creating a toy line using the character pocket art, a Juniors fashion line for ravers (yes I said it), creating an entire wedding for fans of the brand in Kansas City, Kansas, Mutliple lines of Juniors t' shirts, Running the juniors website content given these kids were undeniably FANS of this brand the voice had to be in line as well as contests for the brands biggest fans, I also managed JNCO's part of the NEW YORK FASHION WEEK runway show where were invited to participate with MaxMara, attending action sports events for BMX, skateboarding, motocross as Jnco had a team of riders of all the greats such as Phil Hajal, Todd Lyons, Corey Nastazio, Trevor Meyer, Matt Hadan, Chris Toth, Jason Carnes, Christian Beserine, Chris Livingston, Jason Davies, Darren Vavarrette, & many many more. If you rode in the 90's professionally you were on the JNCO team. Good times with Good talent!
Designer
Mattel Toys created a huge opportunity for me to learn licensing from the best of the best. When I joined Mattel in 95' as a designer I joined the Mattel/ Disney group. This group spear headed the creative for all of the disney movies as Mattel was the master Licensor for Disney & Disney had just acquired a hot little animation studio called Pixar. My position was creating soft good lines & some hard good lines for A Bugs Life, Toy Story, Tarzan, Mulan, Hercules, The Lion King, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, & One Hundred and One Dalmations. This experience allowed me to really get into the characters & properties thru reading the scripts looking for key moments in the films to turn into million dollar toy lines. While working hand in hand with the animators & with the style guides to keep the products on model , I would create concepts that would create the connectedness that the filmmakers were looking for. Presenting all my toy concepts to the consumer product groups @ Disney along the way right up to John Lasseter of Pixar himself. Everyone was invested in making something special & magical for kids. Other licenses I created for included Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, & Dr Seuss.
Designer
I began my career @ Tyco Toys with an internship my Junior year of college working for some powerful women (and men). I developed my skill set of organization, management , and a general sense of how toy business worked. I traveled 3 consecutive years to assist @ toy fair in NYC in the set up of the displays, participating in maintenance of the products for the marketing team & getting a sense for the type of business done at these shows. Great experience to participate in a larger Toy companies show and seeing how all the components come together for it to be a success. Tyco toys was at the time the 3rd largest toy company next to Mattel and Hasbro. It had a very inventor driven based company where i was able to work on existing lines (kitty kitty kittens ), learn how to mine equity in those lines with line extensions , as well as Invent new ones properties for the company to own. This is also where i had my first dabble in licensing with the partnership with Warner Bros. Looney Tunes property. Great experience fresh out of school.
