Re-established the practice communications function and grew the team from just one person to a two-person in-house team supported by an external PR consultant. Responsibilities include driving the practice’s communications strategy while overseeing graphic design output across the practice in close consultation with board directors while managing one Assistant. Major achievements include: – Consolidation of practice-wide graphic material, including brochures, project profiles and banners as well as introducing a series of templates where these can be replicated across the practice;– Strengthened thought leadership by the practice through developing the design and content of the practice’s Annual Review publication from concept development to design to distribution;– Re-established the practice’s social media presence, growing followers on every channel by over 200%;– Re-launched the practice website in 2018 further to extensive internal consultation with practice Associates and re-writing more than 30,000 words of outdated copy while authoring a brand and style guide to be implemented across the practice;– Negotiated with board Directors to implement a policy to commission high-quality photography in order to gain coverage for completed projects, developing a robust image database;– Developed an in-house InDesign training programme for Project Co-ordinators and implemented a logical workflow between fee-earning members, graphics and admin.

Provided administrative support for the Medical Director and Clinic Manager in a fast-paced Occupational Health Clinic, deputising for the Clinic Manager in their absence. Acted as the primary point of contact for all clinic queries, liaising with internal reporting team staff as well as the relevant clinician to ensure all parties involved in a patient case are well informed. Regularly monitored the progression of sensitive management referral cases with particular attention paid to patient confidentiality.The role required applying tact and diplomacy when engaging with difficult patients as well as negotiating conflicting interests of different business divisions while maintaining service level agreements for clinical reporting. Key achievements include: – Writing the submission text for the Aviva annual business awards, which led to the team’s nomination for Best Client Facing Team;– Resolving major conflict between clinical staff and the reporting team through cross-team negotiations, resulting in patient booking targets being met while ensuring the clinician has sufficient time to complete assessments and dictate medical reports.
