I am a highly motivated and reliable support worker graduate with demonstrated experience looking after aged care and disability clients. I have completed a certificate III in individual support from Wentworth College NSW. This course allowed me to build more skills whilst working for Wendy’s home care.In addition to this course I have also completed hoist training, epilepsy training, manual handling, infection control, palliative approach to care, palliative care planning and assessment, palliative care providing care to clients and carers, delivering a palliative approach for aged care in the community, pain management and recognising deteriorating clients.I've worked for Wendy’s home care for nearly five years. My role whilst working at Wendy’s home care was aged care, disability and Vet clients. My role was social support, personal care, meal preparation, domestic services, taking clients to doctors, etc appointments, grocery shopping.During my employment I have developed a strong understanding with aged care and disability clients through my studies and work experience and I have effectively demonstrate these skills.
