I am currently developing and implementing a new dockside monitoring program for the first Community Based Fishery in BC, which involves strong community consultation, the ability to collaborate directly with the federal government and Council of the Haida Nation, maintaining excellent communication, as well refined interpersonal and organization skills. My current role includes in-depth planning, program execution, and collaboration while continuing to innovate to provide services to remote communities and empower teams to excel at their duties. When implementing a new dockside monitoring program, it is critical to identify any outstanding issues and work cooperatively with clients and the federal government under strict deadlines, budget restraints, and regulatory hurdles.
