About Renee Staines
Renee Staines is a Personal Lines Team Regional Manager for Element Risk Management as well as having had her life accident health insurance license in 13 various states. Founder and entrepreneur As an award winning dancer and business owner, Renée combines her extensive education and training in dance with her unique teaching style, making each child feel special, building their self esteem, and teaching dedication and determination. From the age of 8, Renée dreamed of owning a dance studio. She took her allowance, saved it up, and bought wall paper border and placed it in her hope chest. Determined to achieve her goal, Renee danced 5-6 days a week, 4 or more hours a day. She also participated in music, learning piano, violin, and clarinet. Other activities included; baton, gymnastics, softball, church groups, pageants, and acting/musical theater. Eating and dressing in the car was a normal activity.Throughout High School Renée further committed to her dream.After graduating from Hollidaysburg Area High School with honors, Renée auditioned and was accepted into Point Park College’s Dance Majors program (now Point Park University). Once accepted Renée was awarded the Presidential Scholarship, Point Park College’s largest scholarship of $30,000.00. This was a huge opportunity, which led to her induction into the PPU Honors Program. In 2000, while at Point Park, Renee was asked to perform in La Roche College’s annual Nutcracker Performance, another great honor and accomplishment.Being a small town girl, Renée returned home and continued pursuing her dream. She graduated from Penn State University, with a BA in Integrative Arts (combining Dance with Psychology/HDFS) and a minor in Dance Studies. Renée chose Dance Therapy as her Senior Project, working with individuals at the Adult Day Program, inspiring and encouraging them through movement on various levels.Renee also has her PA Real Estate License.
