Renee is an accomplished executive with 25+ years leading technology in not-for-profit, public, and private sectors.  Her executive experience in leading technology has focused on strategic planning, portfolio management, budgets and integrated business planning within the private sector and state government.She has served in several leadership roles working with executives to utilize technology as a critical enabler to accelerate desired business outcomes. Renee served as CIO for the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, the third largest cabinet agency at the State of Ohio. Her responsibilities included budgets, program and service delivery for 6 inpatient behavioral health facilities, pharmacy, and agency corporate services.  Key areas of focus were strategy development, risk management, governance and solution delivery that supported a major clinical systems modernization effort, data analytics, and customer facing operating models.  Her philosophy, "Leading from where you are" is central to understanding how teams and technology come together and drive innovation through integrated business planning and execution.Renee has been formally recognized for her work in the technology community.  She has received numerous recognitions throughout her career. During her early tenure at the state of Ohio, she was recognized as an “Up and Coming CIO” and was recently named ComSpark "2021 Outstanding Woman In Technology'' award winner. She also earned Finalist award for “Technology Executive of the Year”.
