Renée Volkers is an ambitious and passionate curator with a strong focus on modern art. In 2019, she completed her research master in Art History of the Low Countries at Utrecht University, where her thesis explored the anti-colonial politics of Surrealism. During three years as assistant curator at Kunstmuseum Den Haag, she successfully led various exhibition projects, ranging from smaller displays of modern art to major solo exhibitions featuring contemporary artists.
