In 2008, I began volunteer work throughout Missouri as an advocate for children’s care and education, speaking to student in classrooms throughout the state then across the country. The responses from the students led me to found the COPE24 [Changing Our Parenting Experience] organization.In addition to founding and operating the aforementioned 501(c)(3) organization, I am an appointment member to the Missouri Children’s Justice Task Force (CJA), the author of many books and programs including ‘Family. It’s Complicated. (A Bible Study of ACE’s in the book of Genesis)’, ‘Whose Best Interest - A Fight to Save Two American Kids’, and ‘Fosterhood: Let’s Explore’ ( my first children’s book), the COPE24 Parenting Skill Program, ‘The Life Sentence’, ‘Life-Line’, ‘Parenting Under the Influence’, and ‘How Many ACE’s Are You Holding’.As a persistent advocate for the well-being of children and education of healthy families, I also dedicate a significant portion of my time speaking in middle school and high school classrooms across the nation, as well as providing presentations and keynote speaking appearances at churches, universities, teacher, conferences, and advocacy events.I enjoy the opportunity to speak at any advocacy, parenting, or educational event and can becontacted for such events.
