My work has mainly revolved around the development of static and dynamic simulation models for thermo-hydraulic and power plant related processes. My modelling experience also includes thermal, electrical, mechanical and bio-chemical modelling principles — both on a component and systems level. My modelling approach has primarily been by first-principles (physical equation) but also grey-box principles (transfer functions).In the field of control engineering I have experience with classical controllers (PID controllers) as well as model-based, multivariable controllers with observers for the estimation of immeasurable states. Also the practical aspect of implementation and commissioning of controllers in power plants is a substantial part of my experience.For the simulation and design of mathematical models and controllers I have extensive experience with the tools Modelica/Dymola and Matlab/Simulink. On a prototyping level I have used Python and C#.On several occasions I have been assigned as company supervisor for engineering students and have given guest lecturers on industrial simulation and control at Aalborg University.
