Responsible for all compliance/integrity related matters. Led and coordinated - supported by a small, but dedicated team - all internal and external investigations of varying nature and complexity across the region. I was involved in the company's enterprise risk management and maintained close contact with all functions and management at all levels. This helped me to set the right priorities in building and maintaining a compliance and integrity culture by raising awareness and train our employees on issues relevant to them and the company. Tasks included the successful integration of newly acquired companies into the company's compliance/integrity framework and the review and update of the company's reporting procedure in connection with the EU Whistleblower Directive.Through my ongoing involvement in the area of data protection and my previous role as senior legal counsel and head of the company's global Center of Expertise in Privacy, I gained valuable practical experience in the area of privacy program management. Prior to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) coming into effect, I worked on the cross-functional project team tasked with developing and implementing the GDPR framework within Mondelez International. The regional and country Data Protection Officers were part of my team and I served as the regional Data Protection Officer in 2021/2022 in addition to my regular role.My team and I supported all manufacturing sites, offices, warehouses/distribution centers, and RD&Q centers in the region, providing risk-based physical security guidance to ensure the safety of our employees, products, and assets and, thereby, contributed to the company's food defense program.I was core member of the regional Special Situation Management (Crisis Management) team and highly experienced in dealing with critical and high risks in a rapidly evolving environment.
