Job Description:Worked in different types of project in the field of Telecommunication as Radio Communication Technician. Including in Saudi Arabia Oil Company (Saudi ARAMCO) as Radio Communication System Maintenance.Carries out fault finding, diagnosis and defect repairs of radio communication equipment, such as E.F Johnson, Erisson, EADS Tetra, Motorola radios, Eventide Voice Logging Recorder, Trunked Radio Systems and other telecommunication systems. Includes servicing equipment to manufacturers’ specifications, diagnosing faults in equipment in carrying out necessary repairs and directed by Engineer. Provides suggestions when applicable and carries out highly complex repairs and replacement of component parts.Carries out the routine, predictive and preventive maintenance checks on various telecommunication equipment and accessories. Includes operating and servicing sophisticated test equipment used in assigned work such as RF Communication Test set, Spectrum analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Multi-meters, and analogues and digital meters. Ensures all equipment is in efficient operating condition and arranges for service and re calibration as required.Participates in the diagnoses of major faults with the Engineer and carries out routine investigation of anomalies. Replaces or installs parts of a simple or routine nature up to card level, as directed.Registers job out and fills in necessary records upon completion of job, detailing spare parts, materials and manpower utilized for subsequent cost assignment by Central Region I.T Group Leader. Maintains records of equipment repairs carried out and draws the attention of the Engineer to the need for replenishment of spare parts and material as required.As a Saudi Aramco Work Permit Receiver Certified Complied with all safety standard/procedures and file rules and regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities: • Installation and Repair of Base Station, Mobile and Handheld Radios – Multi Site's Conventional Wide Area and Multi Site's Trunking Radio Roaming System (VersaPhone MPT-1327, TrunkNet Smartrunk and BusinessCom) from software level to module and component level.• Monitoring of Radio Frequency Channels and conduct Preventive Maintenance to radio base station and mobile radios. • Conduct Propagation Test and site survey to determine the area coverage and RF Signal Strength of radio system.• Make reports and coordination to Engineering O&M Department regarding system problem monitored likes; One way Audio, Interference, Distorted Audio, Drop Calls, No Access and No Signal.• Installation of Data Communication System to Radio Base Station Repeaters for Wireless and Mobile Internet application (PACKETNET, DATALINK and FLINK KB).• Installation of NERA Microwave system for Voice and Data Communication.• Testing and commissioning of newly installed system to Radio Base Station (RBS).• Attend to Clients complaint.

Duties and Responsibilities:• Supervise the activities of Technicians on maintenance, repair assignments to ensure the continues work flow on production line to meet the time frame requirement and quality standard.• Supervise and monitor the Technicians job performance and time spend on given tasks.• Conduct training and familiarization on how to use the test equipments, tools, and materials to minimize waste and time spend to protect the equipments from excessive wear and damage.• Make feedback reports to Engineering Department regarding every line reject and repeated line reject to improve the product and process of production line.• Supervise the pilot run of every new model of Citizen Band radios (HF radio) and Cordless Phone (CT-0).• Repair of products (PCB assembly / Finished) such as Citizen Band radios, Satellite receiver, PABX key phone system, Exercise Monitor, Cordless Phone Multi Handset and Telephone with Answering Machine.
