As Biblioteksmedier in July 2015 concluded the acquisition of the Gyldendal subsidiary Nordisk Bog Center A/S I were appointed as CEO. Nordisk Bog Center A/S is the largest vendor of distribution of books and similar items on the Danish market, and handle books totaling approximately DKK 600 million yearly.The primary task was to examine the possibilities for a consolidation of the book distribution in Denmark and prepare the Company for a merger in 2016 or 2017. The possibilities for a consolidation in the Danish book market showed quickly to be recalled by Fonden DBK, which during several years have search for a consolidation but without any success.During the negotiation of a merger contract a setting the ownership percentage, it showed that the two Companies on the long run will have different priorities, which will bring the partnership in several difficult situations. As both parties dealt with a joint understanding of that a merger will generate significant synergies, the best solution became a 100 % sale of the share capital in Nordisk Bog Center A/S.Biblioteksmedier’s period of ownership of Nordisk Bog Center A/S were limit to only 6 month, of which it was possible to increase the enterprise value of the Company far over the enterprise value paid 6 month before. The value creation was driven by eliminating of cost that not was linked to value drivers and renegotiating of several contracts with large vendors. Further the organization structure was changed and reduced by 5 employees. All these factors including a premium for giving up the synergies resulted in an acceptable exit value for Biblioteksmedier.

During my time at Tower Group I worked and completed following areas and had the overall responsible for a team of 15 employees.Financial restructuring of the Group's capital comprising debt write off and injection of new share capital.Forming and setting up a professional accounting department in Berlin and Copenhagen in connection with an insourcing process from local administration agencies.Preparing annual report in accordance with IFRS to the Danish Stock Exchange
