I work on the challenges and opportunities that face the field of Mobility in the Province of Limburg, with a particular focus on the development of public transport and smart, safe and sustainable mobility.

As coordinator for the implementation agenda I worked to improve the way in which both short and long term developments in the fields of mobility and public transport are implemented to improve public transport both within the province of Limburg and in relation to its surroundings (Euroregion Maas-Rhine).

As a trainee I worked for different Limburgish governments on a provincial and municipal level. During three 8-month assignments I fulfilled various roles (policy officer, project lead, advisor) working on the challenges and oppurtunities in Limburg's public sector. Throughout the traineeship I took part in a wide-ranging training program during which I developed knowledge and skills related to civil service.

Gulpen-Wittem

As a policy advisor I investigated the ways in which the quality of service Gulpen-Wittem provides to its customers (citizens and entrepreneurs) can be improved. I did this through various activities, many of which involved creating an accurate picture of the current situation as the basis for future actions.Additionally, I was part of a project group exploring the ways in which the services Gulpen-Wittem provides can be developed to face the ideals and challenges of the upcoming Omgevingswet in 2021.

Maastricht

As a management advisor for the newly formed VTH department I designed a framework for the way in which training, education and development of the department would be set up in the coming years. The goal was for the VTH department to be able to consistently reflect and improve while providing effective and innovative solutions to issues in society.Additionally I worked on various projects, chief amongst which was a project to tackle problems in the waste processing sector.
