My background is the IBM mainframe. During my 40+ years in IT I have primarily worked with development and support of the development department with the more technical aspects of programming. I gets my kicks developing the interfaces others says can't be done. For the last decade my focus was on Customer Communication, primarily AFP using the tools from Quadient. That included fun stuff like REST webservices and setting up different components in Azure.Now I'm back on the mainframe creating tools to make life easier for the developers.The latest project have been to move all our mainframe source code to git and open our TSO based infrastructure to the the distributed platform as REST services utilizing the Apache Webserver on z/OS.
