I currently hold the position of Project Manager for an international project focused on organisational values within Operation Mobilisation (OM). My responsibilities encompass the development of a comprehensive plan to investigate both overt and covert values throughout the organisation. This involves engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders to gain insights into their perspectives on organisational values. Additionally, I am tasked with designing and implementing a strategic plan to effectively integrate and reinforce these new values across all facets of the organisation.During my time as the Associate Director of Financial Development for OM in Africa, I demonstrated exceptional commitment by ensuring the completion of all reporting requirements for over 148 projects across the region. I took the initiative to develop comprehensive guides for teams, offering guidance on proposal writing, navigating the organisational structure, and generating reports. These guides remain in use today, a testament to their ongoing value. Furthermore, I prioritised visiting teams throughout Africa to gain an in-depth understanding of their operating environment and collaborated closely with them to develop budgets, project plans, and effective reporting structures.As the Marketing Service Manager overseeing 13 teams in Africa from 2018-2021, I successfully coordinated marketing strategies and collaborated with OM's Global Story Team to procure strategic creative content. This role required me to facilitate strategic alignment, foster unity, and efficiently distribute marketing resources throughout Africa.My experience within an international organisation brings value to any team, particularly one comprising diverse cultural backgrounds. Through my work in Africa, collaborating closely with diverse teams, I have learned the invaluable skill of active listening and gained a deep appreciation for cultural nuances.
