Linkedin is about connecting people and sharing knowledge and insights with the ultimate objective to make this a better world for everybody. Sustainability in this respect is one of the main topics around the globe and has been a great force behind a recent change in mindset of not focusing only on your own success and survival but also on the success and survival of others. I am working 25 years in the financial service industry and the current post-covid period is very exciting because a lot is changing in a short period of time due to different factors like : the pandemic, digital- and agile transformations and the shift to a more sustainable working environment in general. It is my view that these major disruptions need to be embraced and seen as opportunities to make our work and lives better. Species that better adopt to their changing environment will survive and even prosper ( Charles Darwin ). This is also true for companies because their fundament is human capital. The last 10 years my interest and work shifted towards agile and digital transformation and specifically the use of cloud computing within the financial sector. My recent work as a senior service delivery manager within a big hybrid cloud account increased my believe that Cloud adoption in the financial industry is growing fast and banks are looking for new ways to transform their business into banking platforms and provide banking as a service to their customers and partners. Investments are on the rise and the need for the right skills and usages of the cloud are increasing fast.
