Do good, not harm. With this in mind, the application of good design runs through my life and continues to be a driving force in my activities. The choice of moving from London to live in the small outback Australian town of Pingelly WA in 1995 came at some expense in regards to my previous career and income prospects. However, being a single parent at that time I feel that quality of life has been much improved since relocating and so I willingly accept the compromises and challenges that come with that decision. The opportunities to express my creative side in Pingelly through design are limited but occasionally occur and so gladly I step up to the plate where possible. My successes at living in such a remote area benefit from applying a multi disciplined and flexible approach to projects and a sustainable livelihood is achieved by the ability to wear several different hats often at the same time.I continue to seek and gladly accept opportunities for expressing creativity through design. My ultimate goal is to take up the opportunity to play a part in a suitably creative, grand development project that will benefit future generations, inspiring others to proceed with similarly unbridled enthusiasm!
