About Mary Hendriks

Mary provides a wealth of expertise in renewable energy, energy storage and electric transport. She advocates for the uptake of large scale battery storage systems, the transition to electric transportation and the reduction of anthropogenic methane emissions in Australia, Mary has over eighteen years experience in the renewable and clean energy industries. She held the role of Industry Executive of the Australian Energy Storage Alliance from 2014 to 2020, and was also the Conference Advisor for the annual Australian Energy Storage conference. In 2023, Mary designed and coordinated the first Methane Matters conference stream in Melbourne at All-Energy Australia. This event showcased smart ways to measure and mitigate methane emissions in the energy sector, supporting Australia's contribution to the Global Methane Pledge. Her previous roles included work with Renewable Cities Australia, the Australian Solar Council, All-Energy Australia and she coordinated an Australian government funded program for Building Entrepreneurship in Small Business.
