Outpatient orthopaedic rotation treating injuries to the spine, TMJ dysfunction, cervicogenic headache, vestibular/balance problems, sports injuries, work injuries, neurological conditions (stroke, TBI, SCI), rehabilitation after surgery, and many others. Practicing under the direction of fellows of AAOMPT.

Treated and managed care for patients recovering from traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, Parkinson’s disease, and general debility on the acute rehabilitation floor. Noticed increasing trend of patients with Parkinson’s Disease referred to floor and prepared reference of current evidence based practice guidelines for physical therapists treating the disease.

Obtained extensive experience working with the Wyoming Center for Dizziness and Balance developing a specialized skill set for treating patients with dizziness and vertigo. Treated orthopedic and sport injuries while practicing manual techniques under the direction of an IAOM fellow.

Piloted new Fitness Physical program with director to promote health autonomy for all patients. Assisted physical therapists with patient care and exercise instruction. In front office, managed physical therapist schedules, requested insurance authorizations, and educated patients about their medical benefits.
