Whether you need some help around the house, or are looking for some graphic design help for your business; StudentHire aids in the process of completing your Job, all while helping post-secondary Students fund their own education!The original platform followed a classified-like model and often highlighted the weakness of a prolonged start-to-finish experience. This quickly led to the vision of designing the next iteration of StudentHire: a more real-time solution that could enable both Students and Employers to be matched more quickly, closing the gap between Job posting & completion (and to enable same-day, last minute help).As we iterated over this new vision for StudentHire, we worked with a development team overseas to update our Laravel app into a more schedule-based system that allowed Students to easily update their availability while affording employers more flexible options + quicker turnaround. I managed and oversaw the scope, development and delivery of this new platform pre-flight, where we later launched the changes to the platform in the spring of 2019. Show less
