In my role as a System Integration Specialist my responsibility is to integrate assays and consumables onto new platforms in the field of medical devices. The experience I gained as a Field Service Specialist at R-Biopharm is a huge benefit in understanding customer needs and developing devices to specific biomedical requirements. My scientific education as a biological engineer has developed my analytical abilities as well as an understanding of product related issues. In my position as a Trainee at R-Biopharm I have gained experience within different departments of the company including Production, Marketing and Research & Development. The knowledge gained during this placement within the Production department of the parent company, R-Biopharm AG in Germany, has allowed me to successfully tackle the various Marketing projects that I was working on at the daughter site, allowing me to further grow my understanding of R-Biopharm’s rapid diagnostic products from a scientific point of view as well as from that of a customer's.
