After more than a decade in academia, I have now fully committed to applying my scientific skills to the "real world". After obtaining my PhD in Human Movement Science, I spent 7 years as a postdoc in various Computer Science institutions.As a movement scientist, I've learned to operationalize theoretical questions: How can data be best exploited for a given situation?Currently, I am engaged in a range of projects in collaboration with NOC*NSF (the Dutch Olympic committee), where I explore the integration of sports and data.
