    At TPVision I work on the main controller board used in LCD TV for the next generation. I'm working in the control team and I'm board owner and tracking the changes performed by the teams of this board.I'm working on verifying timings and signal integrity of the control signals of the processor. Signals are analogue and digital related like I2C. I perform reviews of the schematic and where required. Where needed I launch changes for better signal behaviour by circuit or layout change. Also looked at EMC issues seen on the board and introduced modification to let the board operate with in the EMC regulations.I'm the interface between engineering and layout I keep an eye on the changes made by the different hardware engineers.For the transition in way of schematic entry in Orcad I take the lead in how to work with the new way of working and held on regular time meetings to get every engineer acquainted with the new way of working. I have an overview of the board and for bringing up the board I went to the manufacturer in China to bring up this board. This together with Chinese an Indian people.

    Developing hardware for ADSL systems. Power distribution for sub-racks. Active analog-splitter. Intelligent fan controller..* Intelligent fan units designed to cool sub-rack systems. Controlled by a CLPD with an isolated I²C interface.* Building an analog active splitter card. Simulation is an important part of the strict requirements of these analog filters. It was important to build and test prototypes and to use simulations to compare and adjust. After the final design was ready, the board was prepared for production and qualified according to current standards.* Printed circuit boards designed for ISAM sub-racks. These consist of various panels and power back panels with discrete filters. Special design rule should be taken to pass 70 amperes across printed circuit boards. And designed circuit to measure those currents and transfer those signals isolated with a I²C interface.* Research into the effects of lead-free card designs, Therefore an existing design is changed to unleaded components. Planning prepared to test whether this still meets the original design criteria.* Design of hardware platforms for ADSL. Within this team I have designed a part of the processor board of the current ADSL system (digital technology).* Performed EMC radiated and conducted measurements. Also preformed test for ESD. Engineers asked for my knowledge to contribute to investigate and help them to solve issues on those topics. * Optical system for “fiber to the home” and gigabit Ethernet interface.* Measuring and qualification of optical SFP modules. After the first period I transferred the knowledge to the Chinese colleges and qualified there first measurements report. Adjust there way of working to receive the correct results. * Writing test software designed for the cards in the C programming language and software in machine language for a network processor. Also written embedded software to boot-up the Motorola'sPowerQUICC-II

    I designed a data terminal that is used in trucks to communicate trough a satellite transceiver with the home office. I modified radar systems to custom specific needs. build a micro controller board based on the 8051 family. this to use for example in a telemetry system The same controller board (box) used in several application with dedicated software. Also designed a remote controller for a video camera (Pan tilt zoom with prefix selection possibility).* I have performed field measurements with a radar installation to determine the correct position for new radar installations. * I have designed a data terminal based on the Intel 8051 family µ-controller. And have written machine code and C language for it. This terminal communicated trough a RS232 interface with a satellite transceiver. * I made custom specific designs for example a computer box that measure the filling of a silo to check if it has to be refilled. This to prevent the silo was complete full or empty.* I made a compass compensation circuit. This to compensate the magnetic disturbance of a metal chip. * I have designed analog amplification with gain adjustments for a microphone circuit. * Made a design for video distribution with pre- and past amplification to distribute with bandwidth radar video picture for 600m of coax cable.
