The InsuResilience Solutions Fund (ISF) fosters the development of needs-based and financially sustainable climate risk insurance products, towards increasing the resilience of poor and vulnerable households against extreme weather events and natural catastrophes. ISF is the implementing programme of the InsuResilience Global Partnership (IGP), and is funded by the German Government through KfW Development Bank.Two forms of support are provided: grant-based co-funding, and advisory to public-private-civil society partnerships. Responsibilities include:• Evaluation of concept notes and project proposals • Guidance to agriculture insurance applicants/projects on leveraging links to Climate Smart Agriculture• Monitoring of co-funded projects

• Implementation of analytical studies (Climate Risk Assessments, Vulnerability and Impact Assessments, value chain analyses, feasibility studies, Restoration Opportunities Assessment for Forest Landscape Restoration, etc.) • Acquisition of analytical studies and implementation projects in the fields of climate change adaptation, climate smart agriculture, rural resilience, capacity development and private sector investments. • Advisory service provision for ODA projects funded by KfW, GIZ, World Bank, GCF/FAO, UNEP, IFC, etc.
