The end of the roaring 90s & a hot Kuwaiti summer evening. "They're here!" were the words fizzling all around another fancy cocktail in the Bulgarian residence. I was about 5 or 6 years old and proudly wearing a pink tulle dress, dragging a Barbie or two with me.Out of the blue, my parents asked me to get in line with the rest of the kids.Finally, the camera lights shone on me. The reporter asked me one simple question, "What do you want to be when you grow up?""A princess!" 👑He confusedly looked at the operator and then back at me.🎤 "How about something more realistic?" By the age of 10, I realized my chances of becoming a princess were close to null.That's why I chose a way more sensible career. My +20 original short stories helped me travel to lands of magic. With plenty of fantastic creatures and their adventures. 🦄It should come as no surprise that in my elementary school graduation picture, my when-I-grow-up prompt said:"I want to write a book, produce a movie, act in it, and also design all the costumes." 📖🎬⭐️🪡A couple of decades later, I found myself lost. I had done it all. Explored different roles in PR, communications, B2B, administration, sales, etc. And through all this time my inner child was constantly mad at me for doing so many different things, yet straying away from what made me truly happy.Once I started to unravel the threads that all my fancy job titles and responsibilities symbolized, I found 1️⃣ single thing.That helped me feel stronger. More confident. Within my core, you'd find...... languages, the written words, "слово" - as we say in Bulgaria.🔥 It was a kindling flame that alighted me and brought me to my truest form.When I started to accept my calling as a storyteller, I knew that this was something I had to share with the world. 📖 🗺And, as it turned out, all along the past 8+ years, I was helping brands build their identity. As an objective narrator and observer, my aim has always been to help organizations discover their truest selves via the written word.🪐 To thus effectively create space for meaningful conversations with the people who matter most.And, in effect, I was sort of guiding them outside their Minotaur's maze with a simple, yarn thread, built on:🧶 trust and confidence🧶 objectivity and knowledge🧶 empathy and understanding.In the words of the great Tolkien, "Not all who wander are lost!"Follow me to discover the rest of my journey! 🛤
