After 5 successful years in Account Management, I earned my first management role at the age of 30, ‘tried and tested’ in this very competitive, dynamic and international organization.As CFO with a commercial mind set I have a strong business sense and good negotiation skills. I want to understand why customers pay our invoices and I can be of assistance in challenging customer cases. I am always looking for the business dynamics behind the numbers, I won’t spread excel sheets from an ivory tower, but I like to work with colleagues and achieve results.My interest for Finance led me to the next roles at Xerox; business controller and managing director of the captive lease company of Xerox. With the help of an external coach I discovered my passion for Finance and a next step as CFO made sense. First at Xtandit and then at Koning & Hartman I have developed a relevant track record as CFO. After a sabbatical during the covid pandemic until March 2021 I am back in business as Finance Director of Kyocera Document Solutions Netherlands.The professional Finance team that I lead will bring tranquillity and structure to the organization. High quality service to internal and external customers, reliable and predictable, no surprises! I like to feel the monthly- and/or quarterly heartbeat to (help) achieve the company goals and report these to stakeholders. Management reports, KPI dashboards look good, Excel, PowerBI and PowerPoint have no secrets for me. I have high expectations, both for myself as for my team, leading by example. As people manager I make sure there is a positive mind set and good working atmosphere.Challenging targets and complicated business matters give me energy. When others get stressed I keep calm. I have the helicopter view to see what needs to be done, make realistic plans, communicate with stakeholders and make sure the involved colleagues stay motivated, usually with a good laugh. If required I won’t hesitate to spend the evening at the office to work hands-on with colleagues to get the job done, enjoying a pizza and of course we celebrate the good result afterwards.

At Koning & Hartman I have been actively involved in the sale of the company to the listed French company Vinci in July 2019. My role as CFO changed into a less responsible role, after which I decided to leave the company by the end of January 2020. Koning & Hartman is a unique company, holding 325 fte and > 60M euro revenue, in the design, service and maintenance in the Benelux Telecom market (mobile 4G/5G networks, mission critical radio networks, private LTE solutions for Public and Enterprise markets). K&H is also a value added reseller to machine building industrial companies and system integrators with high value industrial computer components, smart industry solutions and robotics.In my first period at K&H I was fully responsible for all relevant CFO responsibilities in an independent company. Leading a management team with administrative, IT, procurement, facilities and logistics activities. Next to that the first 6 months of 2019 were dominated by the activities around the sale of the company, such as the Vendor Due Diligence, data room and Due Diligence process. In the second part of 2019 I have working on the on boarding of K&H into the Vinci Energies Netherlands organisation, next to fulfilling the regular CFO responsibilities.

At Xtandit I have been actively involved in the acquisition of companies as part of the Buy & Build (M&A) strategy of the PE shareholders. Next to that the replacement of the companies ERP system, professionalising the finance department and an extended planning & reporting cycle. Xtandit (135 fte and 35M euro revenue) is a top 3 player in the Dutch SME market for Document Management and Managed Services Solutions and the largest business partner of Xerox in the Netherlands.Being a member of the 4 headed senior management team of Xtandit, I was responsible for the finance and IT department (18 fte). I was the point of contact for stakeholders (PE shareholders, accountant, bank) on the financial performance of Xtandit. We have been working on the acquisition and integration of companies, the replacement of the ERP system, the professionalization of the finance department, the introduction of an Internal Control framework, an extended planning and reporting cycle with focus on financial parameters such as ROI, EBITDA and Cashflow. Also I have been actively involved in the Exit strategy of the PE shareholders.
